If you feel like you would like a little more wrap on your Aura Dress or Skirt, we have two ways below on how to make that pattern adjustment.
Option 1.
For the skirt piece that will be wrapping on the underside, trace front pattern piece onto a new piece of paper. Draw a straight line down from where the tie attaches all the way to hem. Transfer hem cutout. You will need to make the same adjustment to your facing piece.
Option 2.
For the skirt piece that will be wrapping on the underside, trace front pattern piece onto a new piece of paper. Draw a vertical line from the skirt cut line at waist, somewhere in the centre of the skirt panel. Cut up this line and along waistline toward where the tie joins. Open this piece out the desired amount, place another piece of paper behind and tape down in place. You will need to make the same adjustment to your facing piece if you’re making the dress.
