Pattern Adjustment - The Cropped Stacker Jacket →

Papercut Patterns November 30, 2022

Pattern adjustment:

Follow these steps to shorten the body length of your Stacker Jacket pattern pieces. Start with your front pattern piece, then repeat the same steps for the back pattern piece.

Step 1

Starting at your ‘lengthen/ shorten here’ line, measure down the amount you want to remove from the jacket bodice length. Draw a line across your pattern piece here parallel to the first line.

Step 2

Cut along the the ‘lengthen/ shorten here’ line.

Step 3

Place the bottom edge of top section along your second line, lining up the centre front seam. Tape in place.

Step 4

Redraw the curve, blending the side seam from your top section to bottom section. See as pictured.

Sewing adjustments

There are no sewing adjustments needed to make up your cropped Stacker Jacket, just follow the steps in the Stacker Jacket instruction booklet.
